S.M.A.R.T Wins Accolades from Mercedez Benz Magazine Editor

Capital S.M.A.RT’s customer service and quality of repairs have been given the tick of approval by the Editor of the Mercedes Benz Car Club of South Australia’s magazine.

Alistair Henderson, the editor of The Star magazine, was on his way to Torquay from South Australia when a truck coming from the other direction dropped a log, which bounced on the road and under the front of his 1997 E320. The driver’s side fog light was knocked out of its fixture and the lower grille surround fractured.

Alistair lodged a claim with insurer APIA on a Monday, and was booked in for an assessment two days later where he was told the parts were available and he could leave the car for repair. Driven home by a S.M.A.R.T ordered car, 48 hours later Alistair was advised his car was ready, with the same elite service ordered by S.M.A.R.T returning him to S.M.A.R.T’s workshop.

Alistair’s verdict: “I must say that Capital S.M.A.R.T’s workshops are clinically clean and would be the envy of a Formula One garage. The quality of the repair: as new……you don’t often see service like that”.

Capital S.M.A.R.T Group Operations Director, Jim Vais, said S.M.A.R.T prided itself on industry leading repairs.

“We aim to get vehicles back on the road as soon as possible and while Alistair’s E320 is almost 20 years old, we were able to quickly source the necessary parts and repair the car. We value Alistair’s assessment that the quality of the repair was “like new”, and look forward to providing the same level of service to all our customers.”
