On Tuesday 13 August, Deaf Children Australia held a Combined Secondary Schools Sports Day in Melbourne. The day brought together 125 Deaf students from schools and facilities in Melbourne, Koo Wee Rup, Bendigo and Warragul. Danny Abboud, an Estimator at Capital S.M.A.R.T Repairs Seven Hills, coached and hosted a soccer clinic on the day. Mr Abboud has been involved with Deaf Children Australia for 5 years and Capital S.M.A.R.T Chief Executive Norman Moss said he was delighted to see Capital S.M.A.R.T team members engaged in important community projects. "Danny's involvement with Deaf Children Australia is a credit to him and something we are very inspired by as an organisation. I commend Danny and all other Capital S.M.A.R.T team members for their work in the wider community with organisations that help us give back to our local community and associations in need." Capital S.M.A.R.T also donated a soccer ball to each of the 35 children involved in the soccer clinic.
