CAPITAL S.M.A.R.T RECOGNISES TEAM EXCELLENCE

MMA-1108The first conference of Capital S.M.A.R.T team members from all sites has been held in Melbourne. Capital S.M.A.R.T Chief Executive Officer Norman Moss said that with further expansion planned for the network, the overriding theme of the conference was delivering consistent high quality repairs and delighting customers. More than thirty Repair Centre Managers, Production Managers,  Estimators and National Support team members gathered in Melbourne and celebrated the business’ progress over the last 12 months and prepared for what’s to come in 2012. Mr Moss said the S.M.A.R.T culture recognised the importance of team building and developing and rewarding team members. “During the conference we made a point of recognising individual and team achievements, as it helps drive innovation, quality and safety in our collision repair processes.” The team at East Bentleigh (VIC) won the award for Best S.M.A.R.T Centre (Large), while  the  Hallam team (VIC) took out the  Best S.M.A.R.T Centre (Medium) award. ‘Best Newcomer’ into the network in F11 went to the team at Holden Hill (SA). Individual awards went to Andy Bird, George Konstantinidis, Trifon Vais and Tracey Vanderwolf in recognition of their support creating a national network of S.M.A.R.T Centres within the last 12 months. Mr Moss said S.M.A.R.T was recognised as an industry leading business and that was because of the efforts of all team members. Chief Operating Officer and founder Jim Vais was also recognised for his industry leading innovation in collision repair processes. The S.M.A.R.T management team also developed a strategic plan to develop  the business model and better serve its customers over the next 12 months.
